2.Sector 2 Flash Furnace Concentrate Nozzle Technology and Supply
2.1 Introduction of Product
Flash smelting is an enhanced smelting process. The concentrate nozzle is a device located at the top of the reaction tower of the flash furnace. Dry concentrate, flux and process air are sprayed into the reaction tower through the concentrate nozzle. At the lower part of the concentrate nozzle, the concentrate is suspended in an umbrella shape and is fully mixed with the process wind. It ignites at a certain distance from the concentrate nozzle, burns rapidly, and is oxidized to form slag and metal.
2.2Working Principle
The concentrate nozzle sprays the dried mixed concentrate and oxygen-rich air into the flash furnace reaction tower at a certain ratio at the same time, and forms uniform umbrella-shaped suspension. The concentrate particles are fully contacted with the oxygen in the process air, and during the reaction, a series of metallurgical reactions are completed in the high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere in the tower.
