Process Technology Route

Polysulfone series products include polysulfone (PSU), polyethersulfone (PES), and polyphenylsulfone (PPSU).
This technology adopts a one-step nucleophilic substitution and polycondensation route, which use potassium carbonate instead of sodium hydroxide to synthesize polysulfone. It is produced through polymerization reaction using bisphenol A (bisphenol S/biphenyl diphenol), 4,4-dichlorodiphenylsulfone, potassium carbonate, etc. as raw materials and DMAC as solvent.


Process technology characteristics

This technology adopts a one-step method, which can shorten the synthesis steps, avoid the dehydration process, shorten the reaction time, and increase the output.
This technology improves the problem of large polymer molecular weight distribution span by improving the polymerization and termination reaction process, using normal pressure polymerization and strictly controlling the reaction time, monitoring the viscosity of the material in the reactor according to the viscometer, and adding end-capping reagent in time to terminate the reaction.
